Missouri Cancer Care to Open New Cancer Center

On Friday, September 21 2007, representatives from Missouri
Cancer Care, St. Louis University Medical Center, and
St. Joseph’s Hospital West held a groundbreaking
ceremony at the site of the planned Koenig Cancer Center
– West.
Located on the North Shore of Lake Saint Louis, this
40,000 square foot facility is intended to open in the
summer of 2008 and will be a modern, full-service Cancer
Center complete with Medical and Radiation Oncology.
In addition, the new Cancer Center will house one of
only two Cyberknife facilities in the state.
The new Koenig Cancer Center West will also provide
office space for subspecialists involved in cancer care,
Missouri Cancer Care’s Research Program, and Pharmacy.
