Missouri Cancer Care to Open New Cancer Center

On Friday, September 21 2007, representatives from Missouri Cancer Care, St. Louis University Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Hospital West held a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the planned SSM Cancer Care – West. Just over a year later, we are now happy to announce the opening of this Cancer Center.
Located on the North Shore of Lake Saint Louis adjacent to SSM St. Joseph’s Hospital West, this 52,000 square foot facility is a modern, full-service Cancer Center complete with Medical and Radiation Oncology. In addition, the new Cancer Center will house one of only two Cyberknife facilities in the area.
The new SSM Cancer Care West will also provide office space for sub-specialists involved in cancer care, Missouri Cancer Care’s Research Program, Supportive Care Programs, and Patient Education.
